FRIENDS, FAMILY AND FRESH BEER...

Our story began brewing beer in a garage and sharing them with friends. The idea of Fort Orange Brewing came to fruition in the winter of 2015. We began talking about the dream of opening a brewery in the Albany area while fine tuning our latest recipes. We knew we needed to create beers that went above and beyond our expectations and that moment was about to be realized.

It was a hot Saturday in June of 2016 and like many summer days, we invited our friends and families together for a day of swimming and enjoying our latest brews. We sampled three variations of an IPA that would eventually become the Fort Orange IPA. As we tried the first two versions we were happy with the results but it was the third version that blew us away. The push to open Fort Orange Brewing officially began.

Our brewery will focus on creating fresh, flavorful beers that showcase the amazing styles being brewed across our country. Whether it's the Northeast IPA, hoppy pilsner, Irish red or traditional stout, we will focus on bringing you great tasting craft beer in a family friendly environment. Our beers will be available in the taproom at 450 North Pearl St. in flights, pints or growlers to go. Cheers!
